A few months ago I was encouraged to continue my journey in Healing Touch in which I will be completing all levels including the Practitioner and Instructor levels over the next 18 months.  After visiting the Samasati Wellness Retreat in Costa Rica this past month on vacation; I was inspired to organize a Healing Touch retreat for May 2009 at this most delightful wellness retreat.

Samasati Nature Retreat is located in the Talamanca/Caribbean region of Costa Rica. It is completely surrounded by National Parks and protected areas: Cahuita National Park, Tortugero National Park, Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuse, Hitoy Cerere Biological Reserve, Bri-Bri and Cabacar Indigenous Reserves, and is located 20 miles south of Limon. If you are not familiar with Healing Touch www.healingtouchinternational.org please visit their website. I was introduced to HT through a niece who at the time was studying to be a massage therapist and one of her classes was an introduction to Healing Touch. Her use of this powerful healing tool was demonstrated on another niece who was suffering with sinus congestion and a headache. Within 10 minutes the congestion was gone and the headache as well. I was so impressed I began my journey into Healing Touch.

Any of you that sought out healing/energy treatments at The Natural Solution probably had some form of Healing Touch facilitated in your treatments. When my mother was healing from her second round of breast cancer surgery HT was the only comfort that seem to provide her relief from the pain.
 
This is a modality that in Level 1 will provide you with self-healing tools and tools you can immediately use on your family and friends. The retreat I’m organizing will hopefully include multiple opportunities for individuals; such as a beginning Level 1 class and an advance Level 4 class.

Samasati has a wonderful healing studio where the classes will be held and throughout the week additional hands on training and sharing of healing will be available. As you visit the website for Samasati you will see that it’s a fairly all inclusive retreat with fantastic vegetarian food, 100’s of acres rain forest to hike and staff that are outstanding in customer service.
